From Our Founder
Hello! I'm Fayona Matisse, a passionate musician and the founder and CEO of Matisse Records who recently graduated from Berklee College of Music.
Matisse Records is an independent label for artists who feel overlooked, underestimated, or tired of being told to fit into boxes.
We’re building something real from scratch—one song, one story, one artist at a time. From fair contracts to minimal use of AI and the collaborations of live musicians and starting out professionals in the industry. Our goal is to also partner with local charities for philanthropic work as our company grows and provides aid and awareness for local causes in Boston and New Jersey and overtime turn to federal causes.
